A summary of our terms and conditions

Overview of tutoring packages and rates: 

Package A: minimum of 4 hours per month, € 32,00 per hour 

Package B: minimum of 8 hours per month, € 30,00 per hour 

Package C: minimum of 12 hours per month, € 28,00 per hour 

Package D: minimum of 16 hours per month, € 26,00 per hour 

Package E: minimum of 24 hours per month, € 24,00 per hour 

Package FLEX: minimum of 1 hour per month, € 36,00 per hour 

You can change your package every month by calling or emailing us. The package for the ongoing month can be changed up to the 14th of that month.  

Exceptions to this term are the starting month and the months of July and August. The starting month is the month in which we link a tutor to your child for the first time. In those months, there is no minimum amount of hours and you only pay for the hours of tutoring that your child has used. If you do not follow any tutoring in those months, you will not receive an invoice. It is therefore not necessary to stop the tutoring during the summer holidays if you want to continue the tutoring in September. 

Any extra hours will be charged at the same rate as your package hours.

For example: Hours from January can still be used until April. After that, the hours will expire.

For example: You have chosen package A. The first 4 hours of tutoring in the month are package hours. All hours that are given on top of those 4 hours are automatically settled with hours still remaining from previous months. If the unused hours from previous months are used in a month in which you have the same package installed, there are no additional costs for using the unused hours.  

You always pay the hourly rate of the package that is active in the relevant month. Do you use leftover hours from a month in which you had a lower hourly rate? Then that amount will be deducted from the invoice and you will pay the difference in hourly rate for the made up hours. So there are extra costs when you reduce your package to make up for the remaining hours. 

You then only pay for 1 hour (€36) for that month instead of all the hours of your original package. The hour that you pay, but have not yet used, can be used as an extra hour, just like any other remaining hours up to three months after.

For example: You call us on March 16. The first possible cancellation date is the 1st of April. But if you contact us on April 3rd, the first possible cancellation date is the 1st of May.

You can cancel the tutoring by calling us or by emailing us.

It is not possible to use hours that are still remaining when your package has already been cancelled. In that case we will set up the most suitable package for you afterwards. It may be that additional costs are associated with using these hours. See point 6 on this page for an explanation (“There are additional costs associated with using unused hours with a smaller package”). 

Have you opted for one of these packages during the intake interview (package A, B, C, D or E), but the tutoring stops within 65 days? Then your package will retroactively be converted to the package for short-term tutoring. Within this package, the tutoring becomes cheaper the more tutoring hours you purchase. After every six hours of tutoring you enter a different rate scale: 

Hours 1 to 6: € 36.00 per hour 

Hours 7 to 12: € 32.00 per hour 

Hours 13 to 18: € 30.00 per hour 

Hours 19 to 24: € 28.00 per hour 

Hours 25 to 30: € 26.00 per hour 

Hour 31 and further: € 24.00 per hour
